Flowers with Creative Moments

I know - I am such  a slack blogger at the moment. I am however busy scrapbooking for my SILs 40th birthday - 60 layouts by the end of August takes up a lot of ones time !!!
Still I did play around with a delightful stamp set by Stampin up which -Ii bought after seeing so many lovely designs on Pinterest.
Here is my version - I love this stamp set !
Over at creative moments we were asked to play with flowers for this weeks challenge so this stamp set purchase was perfect. The colours I have used are crumb cake and raspberry ripple inks by stampin up. In fact everything I used is from stampin up this time even the little ticket stamps, punch, pin and twine !
Hope you are inspired by our flower theme to get creative - stop by and check out my team mates who are loving flowers too !
Happy Crafting xx

Creative moments - The weather

Hasn't it been utterly glorious! Beautiful blue skies and the warmth of the sun at last!
Well over at creative moments the theme is weather so what better excuse for a summer scene?

This was a free stamp with a set from creative stamping and just begged to be used in this simple technique.  The colours are much more vibrant in real life but I just could not get a decent picture!
Here I have used an aperture card as a mask for another card. Inked through the aperture with a light blue (pool party), a yellow (summer starfruit) and a deeper blue (pacific point) I used a sponge to get the colour on then stamped over the top in black.  The sentiment is stamped in pacific point and is from the freebie stamp set.
This is a Fathers day card - reminded me of holidays in Filey and as my Dad is no longer alive - wishing he were here is the right thing to add for him xx

My team mates as ever have been ultra creative so do stop by and say hello whilst getting some inspiration for the weather theme.
I am entering this into the Creative Inspirations challenge - Fathers day
and Simon says stamp - Fathers day. (only just made that one !)
Thanks as always for stopping by x

Cards for Men

We all find cards a bit trickier for the chaps in our lives so next Fridays stamping club aims to throw a few ideas in the pot.  When I planned this I had some ideas in mind however when I began browsing my stamp collection I was amazed how many "men" stamps I actually had.
The stamp set here is by Tim Holtz which has not been inked before - shame on me ! I love how well they stamp and teamed with this fab Bo Bunny paper I was pleased with the outcome.
We usually only make 2 cards a session but I know I will be making many more samples than that.
Hope you are all fine and Dandy and most of all enjoying this gorgeous summer spell we are having.
Thanks for stopping by x

A lovely day out

In Hebden Bridge last Thursday saw me crafting with 2 very interesting ladies.  We all made a version of a project seen on Pinterest and facebook.
I was sent this picture by 3 different people wondering if I would make something similar in a class so I thought - why not have a go.
Should I do this again I would make some modifications but hey that's what its all about.  It was such fun to do and sharing it with Pam and Alison made it all the more fun !
Now I have no excuse for missing anyone's birthday that's for sure !!!
Thanks for stopping by - Hope you are having a fun in the sun filled Sunday !
