Christmas gifts - Its never too early!

It was my evening craft session last Tuesday which has been running 8 years in August - I have made some wonderful friends through this evening session - it so relaxed and we have such a laugh.
I just grabbed these 2 scented candle jars to decorate for this session - so a nice and gentle project however I forgot my little tool bag - so I finished them off today at home.

I have used a little Molly Bloom stamp for the character and some of the ribbons and buttons from the Molly Blooms Christmas mag from December 2012.
They are slightly different but this wont matter as they are for 2 different gifts.

The lid has been decorated too and I may even make boxes to present them in - although i do have some rather cute mini brown bags which would be lovely as well - still as Christmas is a month or two away plenty of time to decide!
I wonder if you can guess the fragrance?

Busy with top secret stuff as the stampin up retreat is nearly here - in just 2 weeks we will be having fun playing with new stash and some fun projects - so I may be quiet for a little while but then have tons to show you!

Thanks for saying hello
Take care and have fun crafting x

  1. Hi Clarky
Another fabulous "C" project, a great idea too. Love those dinky jars.
Wish I could see you SU stuff. Our SU woman is a nightmare, we get promised she will show us the latest stuff then we see annoying.
Anyways, have a great Retreat. Debbiex

    1. Thanks Debbie - will share as soon as the retreat is over - sorry your SU lady is not sp keen on sharing - thats certainly not the Stampin ups way.

  2. Lovely project that gingerbread man us such a sweet touch and it's never to early for xmas

    1. Aww thanks Nikki - my challenge now is to wrap and adorn them as cutley too XX

  3. Janet I was only thinking of you the other day whilst I was making my Christmas journal! Loving what you did with the candles

    1. Aww how sweet Virginia - Christmas is never far from my thoughts as the highlight of my year is the Christmas retreat. Last year we had stockings for the first time and i challenged everyone to bring a stocking gift for everyones stocking this year - but it has not to cost much. All my gifts were less than £1 - the cheapest being 1p ! These candles were a £1 but now look like they cost so much more - a little makeover can do wonders :) mmmmmmm Christmas journal that could be next on the cards..........

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and look at my bits and pieces. If you leave a comment I can pop over to yours and have a peep at your work too.
