Well my fellow teamies have reaassured me that this is not too wacky lol
So I have done my first ever Journal page
using the theme of "Shades of Autumn"
My new Claudine helmuth paints
And my vast array of stamps
First I made a journal page using newspaper stuck together and a layer or two of gesso to tone down the newsprint. Ive then added the colours of red and orange paint and also some yellow through waste sequin mesh to give some background texture. Ive then added some butterscoth paint dabber paint to add some stripes and circle prints. Ive then stamped some Christmas carol music in one corner and a candelabra in the other. Added some Stampin up trees in brown and green and also leaves in 2 corners. Brown enamel paint in spots then wax seals - a Christmas one, a clock face and a greeting. Added some metallic gold paint dabber to the edges. Right im happy so far - love the colour etc and all the elements now for the journalling.
This reads "I love it when the leaves begin to fall from the treesa and the light fades quickly at night it means I am closer to the most magical time of the year - Christmas" Hmmm not sure I like it now! Maybe I should wait for that jouranlling course before attempting any more - but here I am sharing this with you what do you think? Too Wacky???
