Mini collage

Am loving this pale blue collagy look I have seen around my blogland travels so thought I would have a little play with it. The canvas is painted with pale blue paint dabber then tissue paper stamped with Tim holtz crackle in sepia over the top and adhered with gel medium. The tissue papers wording is adhered in the same way. A touch of ribbon, lace and a little bling and its done. This is one of my all time favourite sayings. The other one being "what goes around comes around" but I have yet to find that one in a stamp - I do have it on my key ring though LOL.
Been a stressful 3 days at work and with all the cut backs in the offing i can see work becoming more and more stressful as we are expected to deliver a higher quality service with less funding therefore staff. Its a little scary to think what the future holds especially for those families who are desperate for respite in order to function at all and not fall apart. I work with some of the best folks however and if we can do it I know we will. I know from the care my Sis received when she tried supported living for a while that what I have experienced at work is high quality care from people who care and that does not always happen sadly. I do hope we can continue delivering that extra mile and we don't get bogged down with cost cutting and bureaucracy as it has given me so much pride over the years but also made such a difference to the families we have worked with. Right Janet - step away from the soap box!
Hope all is well with you folks x Happy Thursday x Janet
